Caramel Pears
With ice cream

Ingredients

1 can of tinned pears
50gm castor sugar
100ml cream
150ml water
Ice cream (as per your favourite)
Shortcake biscuits

Instructions

Put castor sugar in pan and add pears on top
Cook until sugar is caramelised
Add a small amount of water to let the caramel down
Add cream
Cook until saucy
Serve hot with cold ice cream and some crumbled shortcake biscuits
