Chocolate Pear Honey Cake

Ingredients

A box of cake mix
125mls oil
2 eggs
200mls warm water
2 teaspoons soluble/instant coffee powder
2 small tins of pears
Honey

Instructions

Add soluble coffee to the warm water and mix it in
Line the cake tin with baking paper (watch video for special tip)
Spray tin with non-stick spray
Place pears upside down into cake tin
Cover pears with honey
Whisk oil with eggs for a minute or so
Add the coffee water to the mixture
Whisk some more
Add cake mix to mixture
Whisk / mix some more until mixture is nice and smooth
Pour the mixture over the pears
Place in pre-heated oven and bake at 180c for approx. 45 minutes
Let it rest for 10 mins
Unmould and plate the cake
Serve fresh with a nice cup of tea
