Recipe
Ingredients
A big pot of raw chicken fillets
A tub or so of butter
A small bowl of fried onions
Coriander
Chilli spice or powder
Tomato paste
Turmeric
Coriander infused yoghurt
Curry leaves and dried chillies
Cream
Dried spices:
- Cloves
- Cardamom
- Cinnamon
- Mixed seeds
Instructions
Place the butter in a pot with a bit of oil
Add the fried onions
Add all the dry spices
Add curry leaves and dried chillies
Cook it all up for a few minutes
Don't let the bottom burn
Bring in the chicken
Add coriander and chilli powder
Add turmeric and tomato paste
Add yoghurt
Mix and cook for about 15 minutes
Add cream
Add a bit of salt for flavour
Cook for 15 more minutes
Serve hot with basmati rice, popadoms and other savoury toppings
