English Scones

Ingredients

250mls Cream
300mls Sprite
500gm Self raising flour

Instructions

Place flour in a mixing bowl
Pour in the cream
And now the Sprite
Mix it all up until you have a nice firm dough
Place dough on flour dusted surface
Flatten dough and cut out your individual scones
Place them on a baking tray
Bake at 170c or 340f for 20 minutes
Serve fresh with butter, strawberry jam and cream
Oh - and a nice cuppa tea!
